Light of Hope 2024 – Annual Outreach Reports
Light of Hope – 2024 Annual International Outreach in Kogi State, Nigeria
The mission of Rehoboth Christian Life Ministries Light of Hope is a charitable organization ministry that ministers to the needs of the homeless, widows, orphans, and the generally underprivileged. Light of Hope provides materials and financial provisions to people who are desperately in need of a helping hand at the moments of their hopelessness.
Rehoboth Christian Life Ministries Light of Hope program once again held its annual international outreach in December 2024. Bags of rice, beans & corn were purchased and distributed to about 250 needy population, including widows, orphans, and individuals with mental illness & emotional needs.
These goods were distributed through our international partner churches & ministries in Nigeria. Members of the community came to these various churches and participated in our Christmas outreach services and received the food items. These individuals received both the spiritual food (The Word of God), as well as the physical food.
During this same year, to the Glory of God, our ministry was able to sponsor three students’ tuition at various higher institutions. We also sponsored an annual children’s church program activity. We were happy to put smiles on the faces of these children of promise! Monetary donations were also made to the ministry supporting individuals with different conditions that are recognized as mental illnesses. We plan to explore ways to sponsor these individuals to receive annual medical checkups, in the future.
In the latter part of the year in 2023, Rehoboth Christian Life Ministries Light of Hope also donated two microscopes and a projector and made monetary donations to cover the school fees for about 150+ students at a secondary school in Nigeria.
We would like to thank all of our international Church partners, including volunteers, donors, and church members for their support and valuable and valuable contributions. We deeply appreciate your time and commitment to making a difference. Your cruse of oil will never run dry, in Jesus ‘Mighty name.
Our goals are to continue to uphold the cause of the oppressed and give food to the hungry (Psalm 146). Jesus Christ Himself acted with compassion to meet the spiritual and the physical needs of people wherever He went. In Matthew 25 it states: “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, “I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
